WYANDOTTE — A speeding 33-year-old Riverview woman was arrested for disorderly conduct at 12:22 a.m. Dec. 9 at Fort and Oak streets when she refused to cooperate with the police officer.

The woman, who had been driving 60 mph in a 45-mph zone, had heavily tinted windows, which she refused to roll down, and she would not produce her driver’s license.

The woman then exited the car, unbidden, to rummage through her trunk, while continuing to ignore the police officer’s questions and demanding a supervisor respond to the scene. She also starting swearing at the police officer.

The police officer, who had the option to issue the woman a warning for speeding and failure to wear a seatbelt, instead issued her a ticket, which she refused to acknowledge. The woman also failed to quiet down and leave the scene, so she was arrested for disorderly conduct as a last report.
