TAYLOR — A white 2013 Hyundai Elantra was stolen between 10 p.m. Dec. 8 and 3:30 p.m. Dec. 9 from the 5800 block of Zeigler Avenue while its owner slept, awakening to the news that the vehicle was recovered after a chase in Ecorse.
The victim, a 35-year-old Taylor woman, was informed by the Ecorse Police Department that the thief had abandoned the vehicle following a car chase and had fled on foot. The woman was able to retrieve her car from the impound lot.
