RIVERVIEW — A white Jeep Grand Cherokee was relieved of its catalytic converter Nov. 27 while it was parked in a lot near the Greentrees Apartments leasing office.
The rest of the exhaust system was on the ground, with jagged cut ends on either side of the muffler and engine.
Yellow paint chips from a Sawzall blade were found on the ground below the vehicle.
There were no nearby surveillance cameras and no suspects.
