HEIGHTS — An identity thief used a 40-year-old man’s information to open an AT&T account and purchase a $1,228 Apple iPhone 13 on Sept. 11, which was sent to an address unknown to the victim, which he reported Dec. 10 to police.
AT&T recently sent the victim a bill for the cell phone, which was the first he learned of the fraud. There were no suspects.
