WYANDOTTE — A 38-year-old Wyandotte man who was found stabbed twice in the abdomen the night of Dec. 16 in the 1800 block of 7th Street refused to identify his attacker to police officers, saying he would rather have the attacker go free than cooperate with law enforcement officers.

Despite his life-threatening injuries, the man refused to cooperate with the investigation. He was transferred to a hospital for treatment.

Deputy Police Chief Archie Hamilton said he hopes that the incident does not lead to retaliatory actions.
