LINCOLN PARK — The driver of a red pickup truck who was recklessly doing doughnuts the night of Dec. 24 in the parking lot of AAA Fuels, 3860 Dix Road, lost control of his vehicle and hit an E-85 gas pump, damaging it before fleeing the scene.

The complainant said he was able to take a photo of the pickup, but was not able to capture an image of the license plate. He said he will check the station’s surveillance cameras for a better image of the vehicle and plate.

A police check of the surrounding area did not discover the damaged pickup. No gasoline was spilled as a result of the collision with the pump.
