DEARBORN — A traffic stop for a non-functioning license plate light, a non-functional brake light and an uninsured vehicle, at 1:54 a.m. Dec. 20, near Neckel Street and Warren Avenue, resulted in a passenger, a Detroit man, being taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.

The driver, a Romulus woman, did not have a valid driver’s license. However, because she was seven months pregnant, the owner of the black 2012 Dodge Journey, who did have a valid driver’s license, was allowed to respond to the location of the traffic stop and drive her home.
