ALLEN PARK — A 2006 black Dodge Charger loaded with Christmas presents was reported stolen Dec. 26 from the shoulder of westbound I-94 near the M-39 intersection.

The victim said they were driving the vehicle the evening of Dec. 25 when they thought the car’s bearings were going bad, so they pulled over to the shoulder and left the locked vehicle on the side of the road. When they went back to retrieve the car the next day, it was gone, and there was no record of it having been towed.

The vehicle was stolen without keys, was paid off and no one else had permission to drive it. There was no significant body damage to the car when it was last seen.

The car was entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network as stolen.
