DEARBORN — A 46-year-old Detroit man was cited for reckless driving the night of Jan. 6 when he was seen speeding on northbound Schaefer Road near Warren Avenue in a black 2018 Dodge Challenger.
A police officer with a radar detector measured him driving 70 mph in a 35-mph zone. When the man peeled away from a traffic light, causing the tires to smoke and the vehicle to fishtail, a traffic stop was initiated. The driver was cited and released at the scene.
