TAYLOR — A 29-year-old Romulus man who was waiting outside a hotel for a ride the afternoon of Jan. 3 with his brother and his brother’s two children was taken into custody for an active arrest warrant as well as possession of crystal methamphetamine.
A complaint was filed by the hotel, Home2 Suites by Hilton, 14300 Pardee Road, who said they wanted to have the two men and two children banned from the property.
When dispatch ran the names of the two men, they learned that one of the men had an active arrest warrant with the Brownstown Township Police Department.
The arrestee was searched and was found to have seven Adderall tablets, a solid rock of methamphetamine and a container of crushed methamphetamine. He also had two airsoft guns. The drugs and guns were confiscated and the man was turned over to Brownstown Township police officers.
