ALLEN PARK — A wallet was stolen the afternoon of Jan. 6 from a shopping cart at Ace Hardware, 15819 Southfield Road.
The victim, who was shopping with her mother, discovered that her wallet was missing when she got to the checkout counter. They retraced their steps with store personnel to no avail. The victim said she remembered two men passing them in the aisle who could have taken the wallet while they were looking at items on the shelves.
The victim said she canceled her credit and bank cards.
