TAYLOR — Video footage of a 39-year-old Taylor man, a repeat shoplifter at Walmart, 7555 Telegraph Road, was provided to police officials Jan. 12 as evidence against the man for multiple incidents of retail fraud.
A loss prevention employee said the man stole a $239 hard drive on Dec. 27 by removing it from its packaging and concealing it inside his trousers before exiting the store.
In early January, the man returned, and was recognized and surveilled as he attempted to steal more items, after which he was stopped and questioned by loss prevention personnel.
