LINCOLN PARK — Three men wearing hooded jackets, who may have been in a white Chevy Avalanche, are being sought by police officers for the Jan. 29 destruction of five windows in a house undergoing renovation in the 1100 block of Fort Park Street.
Five 3-foot-by-3-foot windows, four on the south side of the house and one on the north side, were shattered, with a 2×4 piece of lumber left impaled in the front picture window.
Nearby residents said the house is unoccupied while it is undergoing renovation.
There was no surveillance camera footage of the vandalism and no contact information for the current owners. The neighbors making the report said they will seek the owner’s contact information from the renovators the next time they see someone onsite.
