SOUTHGATE — A woman entered and tried to start the wrong Chevy Equinox at 12:30 a.m. Jan. 28, jamming her vehicle key in the wrong, where it became stuck when she was attempting to leave Six Star Family Restaurant 14900 Fort St.

The woman realized her mistake when she glanced over and saw that her Equinox was parked next to the one she was accidentally trying to start.

Several people tried unsuccessfully to remove the key. The woman at fault paid for a tow so the victim’s ignition could be serviced at a local service provider.
