SOUTHGATE — A man was banned from Jimmy John’s Sandwich Shop, 12964 Dix-Toledo Road, the afternoon of Feb. 9 after a manager said he entered the store, caused a disturbance and threatened the manager when asked to leave.

The man, who had a long white beard and was on foot, called the manager offensive names and threatened to “have her shot.”

A police officer found the man nearby. After the manager positively identified him, he was advised that he was banned from the shop and that he could be arrested if he returned.
