HEIGHTS — A woman was scammed out of $550 on Jan. 30 when she used a cash app to purchase a puppy online from a website identified as Perfect Family Addition.
The victim said she connected with the seller through the Facebook Marketplace app. She said that once she sent the money, the seller stopped responding to phone calls.
