HEIGHTS — The driver’s side rear window was shattered and the steering column and ignition damaged on a white Kia Optima between 1 p.m. Feb. 11 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 12 while it was parked in an apartment complex lot in the 7000 block of Town Lane.

The victim said she heard a car alarm go off during the night, but she didn’t think it was her vehicle’s alarm.

The vandal left a black and yellow Stanley flathead screwdriver between the driver’s seat and the center console, which was confiscated and taken into evidence. There were no suspects.
