HEIGHTS — A patrol officer discovered a Hyundai Accent with a shattered driver’s side rear window and a damaged steering column at 4:50 a.m. Feb. 13 in the area of Garling Drive and Whitlock Drive.

When the vehicle owner was contacted, they discovered that their wallet was stolen from the vehicle as well. Inside the wallet were $20 cash, a Michigan driver’s license, a Social Security card and miscellaneous credit cards.
