Families enjoy the opening of the 2022 Dearborn Public Schools City Wide Art Show at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center.
DEARBORN — The annual Dearborn Public Schools City Wide Art Show featuring select student art work from across the district returns on March 8. Admission is free.
An opening reception will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. March 8 at the Padzieski Gallery, inside the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15u801 Michigan Ave. A senior spotlight, featuring some of the district’s amazing high school artists, will be held at 5:30 p.m. that evening.
The City Wide Art Show is a longstanding spring tradition in Dearborn, a collaboration between the Dearborn Public Schools and the city. DPS art teachers select pieces of student artwork to be displayed at the show. Two-dimensional and three dimensional creations will be on display highlighting student artists from elementary through high school.
The student artwork will be on display at the gallery through April 15. The gallery is open from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday to Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.
