HEIGHTS — A woman reported Feb. 13 that unauthorized charges had been made to her Credit One Platinum credit card since Jan. 1, and said the bank help desk directed her to file a police report as a prelude to an investigation.

At the time of the initial report, the victim said she did not know the full extent of the fraudulent charges.
