RIVERVIEW — A side window was shattered on a Ford Escape while it was parked the evening of March 2 in the 18000 block of Chatham Place in Riverview.

The vehicle owner, a 34-year-old Wyandotte woman who was visiting her mother, said the vehicle was legally parked. She did not see the damage occur, but there was a large amount of shattered glass nearby on the roadway.

A nearby Ring doorbell cam may have captured footage of the vandalism. The victim was given a police report number to forward to her insurance company.
