DEARBORN — A man who had just purchased a used red 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse was cited for reckless driving the night of March 31 when police officers saw him doing doughnuts and driving unsafely in the parking lot of Planet Fitness, 24411 Michigan Ave.
The man, who was recording the maneuvers, said he had recently purchased the vehicle and wanted to see how well it performed before he made any modifications.
The vehicle was searched, and the man was told to contact 19th District Court for an appearance date.
