
The Friends of the Library Dearborn will hold its monthly book and media sale on May 10.
DEARBORN – Friends of the Library-Dearborn will host its monthly book and media sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 10 at Henry Ford Centennial Library, 16301 Michigan Ave.
Items featured this month include gardening, home repair, and decorating. Also, National Geographic magazines will be offered for 10 cents each and box sets at 75 cents each.
Other items for sale include large print books, graphic novels, magazines, DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, and audiobooks. Collectors also may check out the showcase in the book sale room which contains items of high value.
Families can find bargains for children and teens, from beginning readers to picture books, chapter books, teen fiction, DVDs, and audiobooks. Most items are priced 80 to 90 percent below the original retail price.
HFCL also has sale shelves with a selection of material available for purchase throughout the month. The shelves are on the second floor, across from the Information Desk.
Accepted forms of payment are cash, check, and Visa or Mastercard credit and debit cards. Proceeds from the FOLD book sales are used to support library programs and services.
