DEARBORN — A Detroit man who caused a three-vehicle crash at Ford Road and Horger Street April 9 was taken into custody when he was found to have multiple active arrest warrants.
The driver, who was in a Ford F-150 pickup, failed to stop in time at a red light, so he swerved to the left, hitting a Mercedes, which then hit a Cadillac to its left. The F-150 driver then struck a city light pole with his vehicle.
The man was charged with driving without due care or caution and driving with an invalid license. His pickup was impounded and he was told to contact 19th District Court for an appearance date.
