The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan will host two chronic pain weekly workshop series ranging from May 18 to July 1 for people who live with chronic pain and their loved ones.
A virtual Chronic Pain Personal Action Toward Health workshop will be held at 1 p.m. Thursdays from May 18 to June 29. The first meeting will be an information session. The workshop is open to all Michigan residents with access to a computer, tablet or smartphone.

An in-person Chronic Pain PATH workshop will be held at 1 p.m. Thursdays from June 1 to July 1 at Trenton Veterans Memorial Library, 2790 Westfield Road, Trenton.

The workshops will feature a certified facilitator working with a small group to explore skills and tools to help people become more successful at managing pain and leading healthier, more enjoyable lives.
Session topics will include myths about pain, techniques to combat symptoms, and working effectively with family and health care providers.
