WYANDOTTE — A 47-year-old Detroit woman high on inhalants struck several parked cars the afternoon of April 25 in the area of Bondie and Lincoln streets.

A witness who called 911 followed the vehicle as it fled the scene, and police officers soon found the driver in the 400 block of St. John Street and initiated a traffic stop.

Numerous CO2 cartridges and a can of duster, evidence of “huffing,” were found in the vehicle.

The woman exhibited zombie-like behavior, which is consistent with inhalant abuse.

Since it was her third operating while intoxicated offense, she was charged with a felony.
