DEARBORN — A man with mental health issues was found sleeping on a park bench near Reginald and Nash streets April 16 after a local hospital discharged him without releasing him to his caretakers.

The man, who was unaware of his whereabouts, said he had been walking around since he left the hospital the night before.

A record search uncovered a missing person report, and a representative from his mental health service provider arranged a location to meet the responding police officers. Other than being disoriented, the man was in good physical health.
