LINCOLN PARK — A 58-year-old man living in the 1500 block of Merrill Avenue reported Sept. 30 that work equipment was stolen over the weekend from his gray 2008 Dodge Ram pickup.
Among the items stolen were a Rigid battery mobile jobsite radio, a Ridgid Sawzall, a 2 X Husky tool pouch containing miscellaneous tools, an Earthquake half-inch impact drill and a Ridgid quarter-inch impact drill.
The victim said he thought he had locked his pickup, but sometimes the doors do not lock properly.
His home surveillance cameras did not capture the theft. He said he would contact a neighbor to see if their cameras picked up any relevant footage.
The man was advised to search for the serial numbers of his tools and report them to police officials so they may be entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network as stolen.
