TRENTON — A representative of Public Service Credit Union, 3555 West Road, reported Dec. 3 that a $1,000 money order purchased at its location had been altered and fraudulently cashed 10 times for a total of $18,500 at different banks.
The suspect was a woman who had purchased two money orders for $1,000 each on Oct. 1, then had, between Oct. 16 and Nov. 15, used one of the money orders to commit multiple acts of fraud.
