RIVERVIEW — A 31-year-old Romulus man with an expired license plate was subject to a traffic stop Dec. 28 on Fort Street near Sibley Road, which revealed the man’s driver’s license was suspended and he had active arrest warrants.
Police officers contacted the jurisdictions with active warrants, who requested that the man be advised and released.
He was cited for driving with a suspended license and for having an expired license plate. The vehicle was turned over to his passenger, who was a licensed driver.
