DEARBORN — A Dearborn man’s vehicle was impounded and he was cited for reckless driving the night of Jan. 14 after a police officer saw him driving 95 mph in a 45-mph zone on westbound Ford Road near Greenfield Road.

The man, who was driving a gray 2024 Ford Explorer, was speeding, tailgating and changing lanes without signaling. The roads were also wet and snow-covered from a storm earlier in the day.

The vehicle had dark window tint on the side windows and windshield.

When the man was handcuffed, he claimed it was his “first time driving like this.”
