DEARBORN — Ten tools collectively valued at $2,000 were reported stolen the morning of Jan. 8 from a white 2013 Chevrolet Express van while it was parked at Home Depot, 5951 Mercury Drive.
The victim said he was in the store shopping for about an hour before returning to his vehicle and discovering the theft. He said the van was locked, but that the sliding door cannot be secured.
