WYANDOTTE — A 22-year-old Wyandotte man was arrested for assault after a physical fight with employees, and he and his companion, who were both highly intoxicated, were banned at 1:21 a.m. Jan. 5 from an establishment in the 100 block of Oak Street.
When police officers arrived, two employees were restraining the combative man, whom they said had assaulted them both.
The employees said the two men were asked to leave due to their unruly behavior, after which the Wyandotte man put one employee in a choke hold and bit another employee’s finger, drawing blood.
Further investigation revealed that the two customers became unruly when they got into a verbal altercation with another patron.
The man who was taken into custody was later found to have a blood alcohol content that was more than twice the 0.08 limit for legally drunk in Michigan.
