RIVERVIEW — A red Hyundai Elantra stolen Jan. 19 in Indiana was found abandoned Jan. 23 in the parking lot of Fifth Third Bank, 17825 Fort St. without a license plate.

The vehicle had a broken rear passenger side window, with the steering column housing removed. The interior was in disarray, with documents scattered throughout.

A large blood stain was present on the passenger side backseat near the broken window.

The owner was identified via the Vehicle Identification Number, and notified that his vehicle had been recovered and held in impound.
