RIVERVIEW — A 23-year-old Taylor woman who was subject to a traffic stop for speeding Feb. 6 on Sibley Road near Shenandoah Drive was found to have a suspended driver’s license and no proof of vehicle insurance.
The woman, who was driving 51 mph in a 35-mph zone, said she was in a hurry to get to her child, who was ill at her parents’ home. She said she was unaware that her license was suspended.
Her vehicle was impounded and towed, and she was given a courtesy ride to the Riverview police station to await a ride to her destination.
