DEARBORN — A Dearborn man who was driving recklessly on a parking lot access road at Henry Ford College the afternoon of Feb. 5 was cited for reckless driving after crashing into three other vehicles.
The driver, who was in a black 2017 Toyota Highlander, was reportedly driving at a high rate of speed in the lane for opposing traffic when he passed two drivers on the left who were waiting to turn, sideswiping one and hitting another before crashing into a third vehicle attempting to turn into the parking lot.
The driver who was sideswiped planned to drive themselves to the hospital to get their injured hand treated.
After the at-fault driver hit the three other vehicles, he drove over a median, struck a parking sign and knocked over a small tree.
He was cited for reckless driving and released at the scene.
HFC surveillance video footage was promised to be sent to the police department.
