DEARBORN – The City Council and mayor recognized the 50th anniversary of Morley Manor, 21800 Morley Ave., overlooking Ford Field, a private senior cooperative high-rise, during the March 18 council meeting.

Co-op apartments allow residents to own an equity share of a building while enjoying the benefits of common areas.

Morley Manor was recognized as a “vibrant and welcoming community where seniors can enjoy comfort, independence and connection.”

The commendation from the council also praised Morley Manor as “setting the standard for senior living, fostering a sense of belonging and enhancing the well-being of its residents.”

In addition to its enviable views, Morley Manor has a workshop, parlor, library, social hall, activity room, a billiards room and a chapel.
