MELVINDALE — A 19-year-old Lincoln Park man was charged with reckless driving after he nearly hit an ordinance officer’s vehicle the afternoon of Feb. 25 while speeding and running stop signs on Allen Road.
After a patrol officer observed the man’s reckless driving, a traffic stop was conducted on Allen Road near Oakwood Boulevard, and the ordinance officer went to the location and positively identified the man.
The vehicle was not insured, so it was impounded and towed.
