WYANDOTTE — A woman was arrested for drunken driving at 1 a.m. May 31 after a traffic stop was initiated when she ran a red light while speeding on southbound Biddle Avenue at Eureka Road.
Her vehicle had heavy front-end damage from an unknown cause.
She showed signs of intoxication. A preliminary breath test was administered, and the woman had a blood-alcohol content that was more than twice the 0.08 limit for legally drunk in Michigan.
She was arrested for operating while intoxicated.
