TRENTON – The City Council authorized crack sealing and coating for the walking and bicycle path from King Road to Van Horn Road at the July 7 council meeting.
The path, which runs along the Frank and Poet Drain, was last resurfaced in 2018.
The project cost, $17,090, with 15 percent contingency not to exceed $19,653, was awarded to Al’s Asphalt from the city’s capital projects and park improvements account.
Sections of the path will be power-washed to remove debris, which in some areas is 1 to 1.5 inches thick from creek overflow.
