Roman Village Restaurant owner Patrick A. Rugiero (left) recently was appointed by Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud to the South End Dix-Vernor Business District Improvement Authority. Rugiero, son of Roman Village founder Antonio F. Rugiero, was sworn in by City Clerk George Darany. The DVBDIA meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 3 p.m. at the Dearborn Administrative Center, 16901 Michigan Ave. All meetings are open to the public.
