RIVERVIEW — The manager of Parthenon Coney Island, 17064 Fort St., reported Aug. 9 that someone had stolen the stove exhaust fan motor, valued at $2,000, from atop the building the night before.
A nearby business was able to provide surveillance camera footage that showed a black Nissan Altima pull up at 2:15 a.m., with a white male visible, whom the restaurant manager recognized. He said the man worked for a business out of Westland that was one of their suppliers, and he provided police officers with the company name and phone number.
