MELVINDALE — A woman reported the night of Aug. 2 that she believes her ex-boyfriend tampered with her vehicle while it was parked in the 18200 block of Wood Avenue.
The victim said that when she tried to start her 2012 Chrysler 300, she heard unusual sounds coming from the under the hood and immediately turned off the vehicle. Upon inspection she discovered that her fuse box had been tampered with and that several fuses were missing.
She said she and her ex-boyfriend had argued earlier, and he had taken her car keys, but she never actually saw him tampering with her vehicle. She said if evidence became available implicating him, she was willing to press charges.
