WYANDOTTE — A routine traffic stop that was initiated for a defective light at 3:10 a.m. Aug. 19 near Fort Street and Goddard Road resulted in the discovery of crack cocaine in the vehicle.
The driver, a 32-year-old River Rouge man, was found to have a suspended license, no vehicle insurance, and multiple arrest warrants.
His passenger, a 25-year-old Dearborn Heights man, was found to be in possession of a baggie of crack cocaine. He was charged with possession of narcotics, and the driver was charged with loitering near illegal drugs.
