ALLEN PARK — The driver of a white 2016 Ford transit van who struck a white 2024 Toyota RAV4 waiting for a pump Aug. 21 at BP, 7838 Allen Road, left the scene of the hit-and-run crash.
Police officers went to the residence of the registered owner of the vehicle, but no one responded to door knocks, and the van was not seen on the premises.
Police officials were advised that the gas station’s surveillance camera footage could be transferred to a flash drive.
