WYANDOTTE — A 39-year-old man with outstanding warrants for retail fraud is being sought following a brazen theft the morning of Aug. 28 from a retail store in the 3900 block of Fort Street.
The man reportedly stole more than $200 worth of Red Bull from the store.
Video evidence and witness testimony allowed the responding police officer to identify the thief.
In addition to his warrants for retail fraud, the man has a fugitive warrant for being a habitual offender, fourth offense, for organized crime. A request was sent to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office for new charges in light of the recent incident.
