TRENTON — A portion of a Ford Focus muffler was reportedly removed during an unsuccessful attempt to steal the catalytic converter Sept. 9 at the Kennedy Ice Arena parking lot, 3101 West Road.
The victim said he had a hockey game while his car was in the lot. He said he estimated that it would cost about $2,000 to replace his muffler.
