ALLEN PARK — The driver of a vehicle who fled the scene of a crash near Chili’s Grill and Bar, 3230 Fairlane Drive, was later arrested by police officers and charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident and with disorderly conduct.
The victim, whose car was sideswiped by the woman in a GMC, said the female driver and three other people jumped out of the car and threatened her with physical violence and the threat of using a firearm on her. However, when she called 911, they fled the scene, but not before she obtained the license plate number.
The complainant said the at-fault driver was a “chubby,” mixed-race woman with dark hair.
