LINCOLN PARK – The City Council recognized craftsman Ken Hulslander as the city’s honorary blacksmith Nov. 24 during the council meeting.
He thanked the council for the honor, and his friends for their support.
Hulslander will be offering outdoor blacksmithing demonstrations from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 7 during the Lincoln Park Historical Museum’s open house at 1335 Southfield Road.
“I’m going to do my absolute best to make really cool stuff that the city can be proud of,” he said.
