TAYLOR — A 35-year-old Taylor woman was arrested at 2:18 a.m. Nov. 1 after she assaulted her mother, a 53-year-old Taylor woman, at a residence in the 23000 block of Kensington Street.
The victim said when she arrived home from work, she discovered her daughter arguing with the victim’s 58-year-old husband, and when she tried to separate the two, her daughter pushed her, which caused her to fall and injure her knee.
While the older woman was unsure whether she wanted to press charges, she did fill out domestic violence paperwork.
The victim declined medical treatment at the scene and said she would self-transport herself to a care facility.
The younger woman, who also had several outstanding traffic warrants, was arrested and taken to the Taylor police department for processing.
